- Misplaced owners Title to recently purchased Four Winds Travel Trailer. How do I find it. 4EUTA2423PA000102?
20ft 1992 possibly flood damaged. Purchased in Wilmington, N.C. Have never been able to tranfer ownership or get tags. Now I want to sell it after never using it. How do I sell or find a way to get it legal?Can't legally pull it to use for traveling. Lost contact with person we purshased from. Awesome trailer, great layout. I am paying for storage!! A you need to go to DMV, tell them your story, you may need to apply for a bonded title ( if your state does that) , you could also look for a DMV title agency, they are an off sight 3rd party DMV service, they could do the paperwork for you & charge you a small fee. either way it will take about 6 weeks to get the title because you don't have one

- Help with a bad traveler?
My horse has started panicking in the trailer and I don't know why. When I got my horse in September last year, he traveled in the trailer for 1h 15mins to my yard and he was an angel in the trailer. Over the next few months I didn't take him anywhere in the trailer and in February I took him to a small show half an hour away and he behaved very well in the trailer. When we got to the show I had to leave him in the trailer for half an hour because there was slight ice on the ground. He was great and he traveled home very well. Then about 2 weeks later, we went to another show about 45 minutes away and again he behaved very well except that when I got there, his travel boots has slipped down. But he was fine traveling back home. I bought him new travel boots because the other ones were slipping down and about 2 weeks later we went to another show 45 minutes away. All the way there, he kicked the trailer and when we got there, he was all sweated up. He had ripped his brand new travel boots on the back legs and had managed make a few little cuts to his pastern. We got him cleaned up and he was sound so once he had cooled down I rode him and he was great. Then we borrowed some bandages and gamgee from a friend and we went home. Again he kicked all the way but when we got home, he was fine. Yesterday, I took him to a show at the same venue and I had bandages on all four legs. Again he kicked all the way and when we got there he was sweated up (although not as much) and he had ripped his bandages and cut himself. We cleaned him up, he was sound so I rode him once he was cooled down. He was good again and we borrowed bandages and loaded up to go home. He kicked all the way and on the walls of the trailer there are scratches like he has been trying to climb out. When we got home, he had ripped the bandages and pulled off a shoe. One of the clenches of the shoe had dug into the coronet band of the other hoof and he now has a puncture wound and lots of cuts on his legs. Luckily he is sound but the injuries could be much worse and I am reluctant to travel him again until he is more comfortable in the trailer. It is not a balance issue because he kicks even when the trailer is stationary. We have tried shavings in the trailer and I don't know what else to try. A friend has suggested getting a horse whisperer to come and 'whisper' to him and others have suggested I take the central partition out of the trailer (it is an Ifor Williams trailer). Can anybody suggest anything? (sorry it is so long) Thanks He gets hay in the trailer with him
A Who's been driving the rig each time? It sounds as if he's had some bad rides in the trailer, so he's kicking to voice his protest. OR, he's remembering the slipped shipping boots, and freaking himself out because of it. Does he wrap well when he's home in his stall? Does he kick with wraps/ boots on his legs when he's *not* on a trailer? I wonder, if you're brave enough (and I thoroughly understand if you're not) you can take him for a short jaunt in the trailer around the neighborhood, say, no more than 10 minutes, withOUT any boots or bandages and see if it makes a difference. Yes, take out the center divider and see if it makes a difference. It may be that he prefers to ship 'wide' now, whereas before he was more comfortable in a single stall. Good luck
