FAQ - Questions - Reviews on Holiday Rambler Vacationer
- moterhome, whats the tire pressure on a 33 ft holiday rambler vacationer rv?
the psi on the tires gives a rough ride its a front engine gas 460 cui
A My Monaco 34' , which is a lot like a H/R, calls for tire pressure of 100-110 lbs rear and 100 lbs. front. It's weight is 27,000 lbs when ready to travel. If your rig is rear engine diesel powered, your tire pressure should be close to the same Running pressure too low will destroy your tires, and you don't want to have a (what's known as) "catastrophic tire failure" at freeway speeds, especially on a FRONT tire. Could be deadly.

- rv water heater 1994 holiday rambler [vacationer]?
when i turn it on it heats up fine got hot water, but even when we don't use hot water it turns on about every 15 minutes. i heard it turn on went rite to sink and turned on water was hot .its a6 gal.gas atwood #g6a-7e. got the on off switch in the moterhome , been turning on when needed and shutting off when done. this rv new to me but had 2 others with simular water heaters. and left them on the whole time the rv was out. there is no thermastate or temp. setting under the cover
A Similar to your home water heater, it has a thermostat. When the temperature drops low enough, the burner comes on to re-heat the tank. 6 gallons is not a lot. Those water heaters do not have a lot of insulation. 15 minutes does sound rather often. You may want to change your settings a bit.
